Job summary

Magna Electronics in Maharashtra/India is seeking a senior ML inference engineer to drive high‑performance runtimes for automotive sensing. You will work on edge/SoC platforms and integrate ML workloads into ROS2 and ADAS stacks.

The role requires strong C++17/20 and Python skills, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, and a deep understanding of real‑time constraints in automotive environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology.
• 5+ years building high performance inference systems or embedded ML runtimes.
• Strong C++17/20, Python and CUDA programming skills.
• Experience with edge/automotive SoCs (NVIDIA Orin/Xavier, TI TDA4, Qualcomm SA8xxx, NXP S32, Renesas R-Car).
• Experience integrating inference with ROS2 and sensor frameworks.
• Experience integrating ML runtimes into SIL/HIL environments with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI).
• Deep understanding of ADAS perception and real-time constraints.
• Knowledge of camera, radar and LiDAR data flows and synchronization in ADAS stacks.

Job Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology
• 5+ years building high performance inference systems or embedded ML runtimes.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong C++17/20, Python, CUDA programming skills.
• Solid understanding of concurrency, memory, and low latency I/O.
• Hands‑on experience with edge/automotive SoCs (NVIDIA Orin/Xavier, TI TDA4, Qualcomm SA8xxx, NXP S32, Renesas R-Car).
• Experience integrating inference with ROS2, or sensor frameworks.
• Experience integrating ML runtimes into SIL/HIL environments and automated test pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI).
• Deep understanding of ADAS perception and real‑time constraints.
• Understanding camera, radar, LiDAR data flows and synchronization in ADAS stacks.
• Strong debugging and profiling skills.

Nice to Have

• ADAS simulation (CARLA, Carmaker)
