Job summary

Dover Corporation in Bengaluru, KA, IN is seeking a Sr Engineer for HW Process & Tools Engineering to support global hardware development environments. The role is hybrid and requires 5-7 years of relevant experience with engineering tools and dashboards.

You will own L1 support, create process documentation, coordinate tests with UAT teams, and extract data to drive KPIs for HW Eng teams worldwide. Proficiency with SolidWorks MCAD, Enovia, Jira, and Power BI is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of engineering development, engineering tools, engineering operations or process engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks MCAD; knowledge of PDM/PLM systems and hardware development toolchains.
• Experience creating process documentation, templates, and structured engineering artifacts; ability to design dashboards and interpret metrics.
• Experience with SmarTeam Enovia, Jira and Power BI; skilled in gap- and root-cause analysis.

• Provide L1 support (basic) on Global HW Engineering Environment, globally. Perform L1 sustaining tasks and trouble shootings (basic) on Global HW Engineering Environment, globally.
• Conduct internal tools usage audits, globally.
• Create or maintain process documentation, instructions, templates, check lists and meeting protocols for Global HW Engineering Environment.
• Coordinate tests and results among UAT-teams in Global HW Engineering Environment.
• Extract system data and compile recurrent metrics, KPI and dashboard reports for HW Eng teams globally. Extract information and generate monthly time report summary for HW Eng teams globally.

Skills

• 3-5 years of engineering development, engineering tools, engineering operations or process engineering experience.
• Strong user knowledge from SolidWorks MCAD. Knowledge of engineering PDM/PLM systems and hardware development toolchains.
• Knowledge of creating process documentation, templates, and structured engineering artifacts. Strong analytical skills with the ability to design dashboards, define metrics, and interpret operational data.
• Experience in SmarTeam Enovia. Experience in Jira. Experience in Power BI. Experience with sequential problem-solving methodologies like gap- and root cause analysis.
