Micron Technology, Inc. seeks an experienced CSA Engineer with 7–12 years in Civil, Structural and Architectural engineering for industrial and manufacturing projects.

You will lead CSA activities, coordinate with consultants and EPC contractors, and supervise foundations, structures, and architectural works to ensure safe, timely delivery within budget. The role requires strong coordination across teams, adherence to codes, and active participation in design reviews and handover activities.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of CSA engineering and project execution experience.
• Strong background in industrial construction, EPC or large infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CSA Engineer with 7–12 years of relevant experience in Civil, Structural and Architectural engineering, preferably within industrial/manufacturing, EPC, or large-scale infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for engineering, design coordination, project execution, construction supervision, quality control, and commissioning support for civil, structural, and architectural works. The role requires strong coordination with consultants, EPC contractors, vendors, and internal engineering teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and as per required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) engineering activities for industrial projects.
• Review and approve civil/structural drawings, specifications, calculations, BOQs, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants and EPC contractors for design development and execution.
• Supervise construction activities including:
• Foundations and RCC structures
• Structural steel works
• Industrial buildings and sheds
• Equipment foundations
• Roads, pavements and drainage
• Utility structures
• Underground structures and trenches
• Architectural and finishing works
• Review GA drawings, structural drawings, reinforcement drawings, foundation drawings, shop drawings, and architectural layouts.
• Ensure proper execution of foundations for heavy equipment, tanks, pumps, utility systems, and other plant equipment.
• Coordinate civil requirements with mechanical, electrical, piping, HVAC, fire protection, and utility systems.
• Monitor site progress against project schedules and identify construction bottlenecks.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Review contractor method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and material submittals.
• Ensure quality control of concrete, reinforcement, structural steel, waterproofing, flooring, grouting, and finishing works.
• Coordinate material quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, tendering, and technical evaluation of contractors.
• Identify design conflicts and coordinate constructability reviews and clash resolution.
• Support project planning, cost control, progress monitoring, and contractor management.
• Participate in design reviews, FAT/SAT where applicable, pre-commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Conduct inspections and prepare punch lists, snag lists, and closure documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, construction standards, statutory regulations, and project specifications.
• Perform root-cause analysis for construction/design issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain project documentation, inspection records, as-built drawings, and handover dossiers.
• Should be able to apply use of Large Language Models or Generative AI Tools like Co-pilot, Claude or Chat GPT for day-to-day activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7–12 years of relevant experience in CSA engineering/project execution.
• Strong experience in industrial construction projects, EPC projects, manufacturing facilities, or large infrastructure projects.
