Job summary

C&S Electric in India is seeking an experienced product design engineer to design LV switchgear products (MCB/RCCB/RCBO) and lead CAD modelling. The role requires 5–10 years in product design, proficiency with Creo, and strong capability in plastic and sheet metal design.

The engineer will generate drawings with tolerances, create prototypes, and support IEC-compliant testing within a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Design of Switchgear LV products such as MCB/RCCB/RCBO.
• Significant 5–10 years of experience in product design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Creo) – part modelling, assembly and mechanism.
• Strong in plastic, sheet metal and switchgear product design.
• Strong in creating drawings using tolerances.
• Experience in building prototype samples.
• Knowledge of product development processes.
• Knowledge of testing as per IEC standard.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team.
