SV Management Consultants seeks a Vehicle Component Testing Engineer to perform four-poster simulations for durability testing of vehicle components and assemblies. You will ensure tests conform to plans, maintain test rigs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in the vehicle validation cycle.

The role emphasizes test plan execution, data analysis, problem solving, and project coordination.

Qualifications

• BE / B TECH in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Automobile / Industrial, 6–8 yrs experience in Testing & Validation in automotive industry (Fatigue Lab, 4 Poster).
• Strong understanding of testing standards and vehicle validation processes.
• Experience with four-poster test rigs and data analysis software is a plus.

Job description

A "Vehicle Component Testing Engineer" Execute the testing for 4 Poster Simulation of Vehicle and individual vehicle components for Durability testing in Hydro pulse system. Able to execute tests quality standards and performance requirements as per test plans, maintaining test facilities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any issues throughout the vehicle validation cycle.

Technical Expertise

Able to Collaborate & analyze Test data of RLDA (on Instron 4 Poster system & software nCode- Glyphworks, V box tools, RAS,SOMAT & ROTEC) Simulation, High level frequency simulation on full vehicle structure and on Aggregates during Four Poster testing.

Stay updated on latest testing technologies, methodologies, and Automotive industry regulations. (AIS, ISO, BIS, JIS, ASTM, ECE, etc.)

Calibration & Maintenance of Test equipment i.e. PLC, Drives & Functionality of Test lab.

Project Management

• Coordinate testing activities with project timelines and milestones.
• Manage Test Budgets and Resource allocation.
