Job summary

CBTS is seeking a Sr. Developer – Application Development (Back-End) to design and optimize secure, scalable backend systems.

You will build APIs and microservices, implement authentication and data security, and ensure reliability for enterprise-grade applications. Work with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver cloud-ready solutions, uphold coding standards, drive performance improvements, and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 5+ years of relevant backend experience.
• Experience building APIs, microservices, and secure backend systems.
• Familiarity with Node.js and Java Spring Boot.

Builds robust APIs, microservices, and integration components while driving engineering best practices and ensuring reliability across enterprise-grade applications.

• Key Interfaces:
• Internal: Collaborates with Front-End, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and QA teams for integration, testing, and deployment alignment. Works closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and Security teams to ensure architecture consistency and compliance with coding standards.
• External: Coordinates with client IT team, technology vendors, cloud service providers, and integration partners for performance optimization, issue resolution, and technology upgrades.
