Job summary

V2 Solutions is hiring a GoLang backend engineer to design and develop microservices and scalable APIs. You will work with AWS services, Docker containers, and IaC tooling to automate provisioning and deployments.

You will implement secure architectures, build distributed systems, and contribute to code quality through reviews and best practices. Strong Linux and agile experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of backend GoLang development experience.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services ( Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Hands-on with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC tooling.
• Experience building distributed systems and microservices.
• Proficient in REST and/or gRPC API development and testing.
• Solid fundamentals in Linux, Git, and security best practices.
• Agile methodology experience and collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

Understand business requirements and collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define scalable technical solutions. Design, develop, and maintain GoLang-based applications, microservices, and backend services. Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable RESTful and/or gRPC APIs using GoLang. Develop and unit test new features, enhancements, and change requests using GoLang development best practices. Apply software design principles, design patterns, clean coding practices, and performance optimization techniques. Build distributed systems and cloud-native applications using GoLang and AWS services. Integrate applications with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, S3, Aurora, DynamoDB, and related services. Design and implement secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient application architectures. Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using AWS CDK primarily and support other IaC implementations where required. Develop and maintain scripts/code required for automation, infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and cloud enablement activities. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Ensure application security, reliability, observability, and performance optimization. Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and development best practices. Troubleshoot application, deployment, pipeline, cloud infrastructure, and operational issues. Participate in operational ownership activities including remediation activities, platform maintenance, environment stability improvements, and service reliability initiatives. Support production operations by addressing cloud findings, deployment issues, AWS service-related issues, pipeline issues, and platform improvements. Maintain technical documentation, architecture decisions, and deployment processes. Stay updated with GoLang ecosystem advancements, AWS services, and industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

Requirements Experience: 3-5 years. Backend: GoLang Cloud Environment: AWS Cloud and Services (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, S3, Cognito, CloudWatch, IAM, Aurora, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager, EventBridge, etc.) Build & Deployment: Docker, AWS CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CI/CD DB Layer: Aurora, DynamoDB, DocumentDB and other AWS-managed SQL / NoSQL database services Testing: Go Test, Testify, TDD Infrastructure as Code: AWS CDK preferred, or Terraform / CloudFormation At least 4+ years of experience in GoLang development. Experience in TDD using GoLang. Experience working with GoLang design patterns and clean coding principles. Experience building distributed systems and microservices. Experience developing RESTful and/or gRPC APIs. Strong understanding of cloud-native and serverless architectures on AWS. Experience designing and developing applications using AWS services. Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK preferred or Terraform / CloudFormation. Experience with scripting/programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python for automation and infrastructure activities. Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker. Well-versed with CI/CD concepts and implementation. Understanding of SQL and NoSQL database concepts. Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability practices. Understanding of application security and secure coding practices. Strong Linux fundamentals. Proficient in version control systems, especially Git. Minimum 2 years of experience in Agile development. Good to have skills Exposure to Java development. Experience with SonarQube or similar code quality tools. Experience with BlackDuck or similar security, vulnerability, and software composition analysis tools. AWS Certifications. Experience in Automotive domain.
