Job summary

Keka Inc. is seeking an experienced Go (Golang) Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to scalable backend systems. You have 4–6 years of total software experience, with 2–4 years in production Go development, and you can work independently on architectural decisions.

You will design, build, test, and maintain microservices and APIs, using Go, Docker, and Kubernetes, with strong emphasis on reliability, performance, and clean code.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs using Go.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to key technical decisions around system design, scalability, and reliability.
• Build and optimize RESTful/gRPC APIs, ensuring high performance and low latency under production load.
• Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) — schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Integrate services with message queues/event streaming systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS) where applicable.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and help improve build, test and deploy automation

Requirements:

• 4–6 years of overall software development experience, with at least 2–4 years of hands-on Go development in production environments.
• Strong understanding of Go fundamentals: goroutines, channels, interfaces, error handling, and Go's memory model/concurrency patterns.
• Solid experience building and consuming RESTful APIs; familiarity with gRPC is a strong plus.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and writing efficient SQL queries; exposure to NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Practical experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes) in production settings.
