Job summary

Zepto is hiring a backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable services using Go in Bengaluru. You will own key components from design to deployment and monitor performance in a fast-paced startup.

You will build microservices on AWS, craft robust REST APIs, and collaborate with product, mobile, QA, and DevOps to deliver features end-to-end while improving reliability, security, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang.
• Good understanding of DSA, concurrency, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS, REST APIs, databases, caching, and messaging systems.
• Working knowledge of HLD/LLD and system design.
• Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, and Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset.
• Build and scale AI-powered consumer products.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Growth, and Founders.
• Solve real-world problems involving scale, performance, and distributed systems.
