Job summary

AspenTech in Pune is seeking a Senior Database Developer to design, develop, and support data capabilities across our Performance Engineering products. You will lead data solution efforts and collaborate with product managers, designers and developers to translate requirements into robust data architectures.

You will stay current with new technologies and assess feasibility of adopting NoSQL, Graph, or Time-Series databases while leveraging ORM frameworks like Entity Framework, Dapper,

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Masters preferred.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• SQL(relational database) and No SQL database skills.
• C# coding - query into database.
• RDBMS - relational database architecture.
• Database Agnostic - open to new Database technologies - Mindset.
• We seek engineers who, in addition to expertise with traditional relational databases, are able to evaluate, select, and integrate purpose-built data stores (such as NoSQL, Graph, or Time-Series databases) tailored to specific application needs.
• Proficient with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) technologies and integrating them with application codebases (e.g., Entity Framework, Dapper, NHibernate, or similar)
• Good to have C++
• English language fluency, both written and verbal

The Role

As a Senior Database Developer in our Technology Group, you will contribute and develop new solutions to aid in achieving AspenTechs Performance Engineering vision. You will leverage your skills and passion to provide leadership that will help drive AspenTechs Asset Optimization strategy.
