Job summary

Blue Yonder is seeking a Data Science Consultant in Bengaluru, India, to onboard clients onto the Luminate Planning suite and provide DSaaS support. You will collaborate with a global team, mentor junior members, and apply statistical and ML methods to deliver robust forecasting and data quality improvements.

You’ll select and build classifiers, conduct data mining, integrate external data sources, clean and verify datasets, perform ad-hoc analysis, and clearly present results to stakeholders to

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., Linear Regression, K-Means Clustering, Naive Bayes).
• Proficiency in Python, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn (expertise in at least two).
• Experience in supply chain concepts and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge of operations research concepts, including integer, linear, and stochastic programming.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Streamlit and Power BI.
• Proficiency in query languages such as SQL and Snowflake, or Python-based SQL wrappers.
• Solid grounding in applied statistics, including distributions, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
• Bonus skills: familiarity with Dask/parallel processing, Airflow orchestration tools, Postman/API integration.
• Strong scripting and programming capabilities.
• Data-driven mindset with an eye for detail.

Scope

As a Data Science Consultant, you will be a key player in onboarding clients onto Blue Yonder's Luminate Planning suite of solutions and providing ongoing support through our Data Science as a Service (DSaaS) offering. Our team currently consists of approximately 50 associates in India, part of a larger global team spanning the US and Germany, and is poised for rapid growth. Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential, as you will mentor junior team members.
