Job summary

DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC in Bengaluru is seeking a Sr. Control & Application Software Engineer (Power Electronics) to design, develop and lead embedded control solutions for products like DC-DC converters, inverters, EV chargers and traction drives.

You will handle control algorithms, real-time software in C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink modeling, HIL/SIL testing, and hardware integration, with attention to performance, reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics / Control Systems / Embedded Systems.
• 5–9 years of experience in power electronics control software.
• Strong understanding of control theory and embedded systems with hands‑on debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control algorithms for power converters and inverters.
• Lead embedded firmware development in C/C++ for microcontrollers/DSPs.
• Perform modeling/simulation in MATLAB/Simulink and validate with HIL/SIL testing.
• Integrate control software with hardware and ensure real‑time performance.
• Prepare technical documentation and support certification efforts.
