Job summary

SYSTRA India seeks a Sr. Contract Expert - System to lead contract activities for signaling, telecom, rolling stock, and related system works on metro bids. You will prepare contracts, evaluate bids, and oversee tender processes with a focus on international standards and safety.

The ideal candidate has engineering education and at least 15 years of experience, including 5 years in relevant system contracts. Join a global engineering group delivering mobility solutions in India.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate contracts related to system works (signaling, telecom, rolling stock, power supply, SCADA, AFC, etc.).
• Oversee tendering processes, assess technical and financial bids, and ensure transparent contractor selection.
• Monitor execution of system contracts, track compliance with technical specifications, and enforce contractual obligations.
• Evaluate contractor claims, negotiate settlements, and support resolution of disputes specific to system packages.
• Ensure contracts adhere to international standards, safety regulations, and project guidelines for system integration.
• Identify contractual risks in system works and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Liaise with engineers, project managers, and legal teams, while preparing periodic reports on system contract status.
