The Senior Consultant provides proactive leadership and guidance to partners to strengthen controls, assess and mitigate operational risk.This IC role which reports to the AFS Business Oversight & Reporting Lead will provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to develop knowledge and experience of a dynamic and varied environment of AFS.**Responsibilities*** Drives engagement with stakeholders and perform risk analysis to identify priorities and key risk areas to perform proactive reviews independently to maintain quality levels & identify areas for enhancement. Provide recommendations & track implementation by the Business Units.* Ensure that current policies and procedures are in place (and are being followed) for business unit functions and are in compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.* Assess Operational readiness of the business unit’s ability to take on new clients, processes, or perform system migrations.* Lead innovation and develop process improvements to mitigate operational risk* Lead AFS wide initiatives to drive reduction of risk, process improvements and adherence to controls.* Perform proactive reviews on the processes undergoing Strategic Change* Perform Root Cause Analysis of incidents within the department and identifying trends and solutions.* Perform Trend analysis using metrics available leading to proactive mitigation of risk.* Collaborate with Business Functions to assess the Business Continuity Plans (BCP), & identify gaps and deviation from BCP.* Track all review actions / reporting to Senior Management and plan effectively to meet the deadlines set* Articulate various Oversight Reports to ensure timely & effective communication to management.* Keep abreast of industry and regulatory developments that may impact the risk and quality of our service.* Demonstrate excellent communication skills and engage stakeholders continuously.
