The role requires 3–5 years in risk/banking, strong analytical abilities, and practical data governance experience. SQL, Power BI, Sigma, Snowflake and Agile familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in Risk/ Banking Domain.
  • MBA in Finance, Risk Management, or related discipline preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Financial Risk and/or Financial Crime domains.
  • Experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, or Regulatory Reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work across business, risk, and technology teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and project management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Drive data governance practices including data quality, metadata management, lineage, controls, and stewardship.
  • Support regulatory reporting processes and data governance activities for regulatory submissions.
  • Support data sourcing, integration, transformation, and validation across multiple systems.
  • Support audit, regulatory examination, and issue remediation with data traceability.
  • Partner with data owners and business stakeholders to remediate data quality issues.
  • Analyze and support initiatives across Financial Risk, AML, KYC, Fraud, and Financial Crime domains.
  • Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to ensure data used for reporting and risk management is accurate and traceable.
  • Perform data profiling, reconciliation, and root cause analysis across complex datasets.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and operational efficiency.
