Job summary

HCLTech is implementing Privileged Identity Management solutions for large scale customers across multiple verticals. You will architect, deploy, and maintain BeyondTrust Password Safe, PRA, and EPM environments, onboarding privileged accounts and configuring rotations with automation.

You will develop integrations via REST APIs, PowerShell, and Python, tie in SIEM/ITSM systems, and collaborate with global teams.

Qualifications

• 7 to 11 years of experience in operations OR deployment & implementation of Endpoint Privilege Management for large scale customers.
• Experience with at least 2 products from: Thycotic Privilege Manager, Avecto DefendPoint, BeyondTrust, PowerBroker.
• Understanding of GPO and related policies; BEYONDTRUST certification desirable.
• Strong knowledge of LDAP concepts and AD directories; Windows/Linux debugging for PIM integration.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME; mentor junior analysts and build product expertise across multiple PIM products.
• Preparedocumentation for tools and processes; define deliverables and track milestones.
• Prepare periodic reports; escalate challenges with stakeholders; ensure project timelines.
• Oversee a team to optimize work allocation and achieve goals.

Job description

Implementation of Privileged Identity Management solutions for large scale customers across various industry verticals

• Worked on building teams from scratch for implementation and operations and has a fair understanding of resourcing, planning, etc.
• Good understanding of BEYONDTRUST Components, its architecture and has hands-on experience in complex implementations.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain BeyondTrust Password Safe, PRA, EPM environments.
• Perform privileged account onboarding, password rotation configuration, smart rules, and session management setup.
• Configure and customize Password Safe plugins, connectors, discovery jobs, and automation policies.
• Develop automation and integration workflows using REST APIs, PowerShell, Python, and BeyondTrust SDKs.
• Implement integrations with SIEM (Splunk/QRadar), ITSM (ServiceNow), Identity (AD/Azure AD), DevOps tools.
• Solid understanding of Windows/Linux OS, AD/LDAP, networking protocols, MFA/SSO, certificates
• Play active role in the execution of the project and demonstrate strong technical leadership

Open to travel as and when required for deployment at customer sites

• Implement and manage EPM use cases in the environment
• Troubleshooting and providing service support by diagnosing & resolving EPM solution issues and handling communications with the product vendor to resolve any product bug and SRs

Primary Skill:

• 7 to 11 years of experience in operations OR deployment & implementation of Endpoint Privilege Management solution using leading EPM tools for large scale customers across various industry verticals on Windows and Mac endpoints
• Should have experience with at least 2 products from the following: Thycotic Privilege Manager, Avecto DefendPoint, BeyondTrust, PowerBroker
• Product specific certification is highly desirable
• Should have understanding of GPO and how related policies work
• Experience in development and implementation of BEYONDTRUST, Privileged Identity Management Solution.
• Good understanding of LDAP concepts and working experience with at least few of the following directories:
• Oracle Internet Directory
• Sun Directory Server
• Active Directory
• Tivoli Directory Server
• CA Directory
• Experience in using database client tools like Toad, etc.
• Experience in using standard protocols like SSH, Telnet, RDP, etc. and related tools like Putty.
• Experience in working with the Network devices like firewalls, routers, etc.
• Should have the ability to understand customer scenario and requirements (may include customized integration situations) and be capable of suggesting solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global counterparts.
• Knowledge of basic networking
• Experience in Windows and Linux operating systems from PIM integration and debugging perspective

Secondary Skills:

• Experience of any other privileged identity manager product- IBM PIM, NetIQ PIM etc.

Good to have Skills:

• Experience of any other privileged identity manager product- IBM PIM, NetIQ PIM etc.
• Knowledge of any programing language like Java, .Net, etc.

Certifications: Certification in BEYONDTRUST will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Act As A Subject Matter Expert wherever required. Mentor the Junior Analysts to improve their Performance Through Feedback And Coaching. Build Product Expertise On A Large Quantity Of Diverse Products Through Thorough Research And Analysis
• 2. Prepare And Develop Documentation For Tools And Project Processes To Support The Lead Trainer And Team Lead. Define Deliverables And Measures For The Project. Track Metrics At And Engagement And Individual Level And Monitor Timelines / Milestones
• 3. Prepare Periodic Report. Escalate And Solve Challenges With Respect To Projects In Coordination With Internal/External Stake Holders
• 4. Oversee A Small Group Of Project Team Who Are Responsible To Optimize Work Allocation To Maximize And Balance The Broad Set Of Goals Defined By The Team Leads

Skill Requirements

• 1. Expert proficiency in SoC architecture and design, with in-depth knowledge of Verilog and UVM for digital verification.
• 2. Excellent understanding of C and C++ development as applied to embedded systems and SoC integration.
• 3. Strong familiarity with RTL design, simulation tools (e.g., Synopsys VCS, Cadence), and advanced verification methodologies.
• 4. Advanced proficiency in developing and reviewing testbench architectures using UVM.
• 5. Solid experience in mentoring technical teams and driving best practices in SoC development.

Other Requirements

• 1. Recommended: Certified Verification Engineer (CVE) â UVM (Optional but valuable)
• 2. Recommended: IEEE Certified SoC Design Professional (Optional but valuable)
