Job summary

You will design, implement, test, and document software in C++, C, or Matlab/Simulink, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robustness, security, performance, and maintainability while meeting timelines.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of professional embedded software experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or related field.
• Experience with energy storage, BMS, or grid applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop OS controls software for energy storage products (BMS, OS app, grid integration).
• Design, develop, build, and document OS controls SW using C++, C or Matlab/Simulink.
• Support requisition engineering; troubleshoot field issues and identify root causes.
• Focus on robustness, security, performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Meet project timelines and budget.
• Track, manage, document and report work using JIRA and Confluence.
• Foster teamwork and constructive disagreement to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop customized OS controls software used in customer's energy storage products. The software you will develop includes but not limited to:
• system-level BMS (Battery Management System)
• customer’s OS application and base controls for utility and grid applications
• Integration of grid-scale battery and power conversion systems from industry-leading manufacturers.
• Design, develop, build, and document OS controls SW using C++, C and/or Matlab/Simulink.
• Support requisition engineering. Troubleshoot field issues and identify root causes.
• Focus on robustness, security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Meet project timelines and budget.
• Track, manage, document, and report work using JIRA and Confluence.?
• Foster a spirit of teamwork that allows for impersonal disagreement over ideas, conflict, and expeditious resolution.

Qualifications

Experience -6-9 Years

Qualification: Bachelor in the areas of Computer Science, Electronics / Electrical or related fields from an accredited university.
