Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited seeks a Senior Hardware Design Engineer for consumer electronics to lead end-to-end board design, from schematic capture to PCB layout and validation.

The role requires experience with microcontrollers, analog/digital circuits, power supplies, and motor control interfaces, plus skill in CAD tools and EMI/EMC compliance. Collaboration in a multidisciplinary team is essential for successful product development.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing microcontroller boards and associated peripheral circuits.
• Experience in analog and digital circuit design, board level power supply design (Buck, Boost, LDO, Linear, Flyback).
• Experience in actuator and motor control circuit design (BDC, BLDC, stepper).
• Knowledge of communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet.
• Experience with BOM preparation, thermal calculations, and spice simulations.
• Experience in EMI/EMC compliant design.
• Experience in board bring-up, testing and troubleshooting the electronic circuits.
• Experience in using equipment such as DSO, signal generator, thermal imager, data logger.
• Experience in system level testing and validation of electronic products for Consumer application.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and layout of microcontroller-based boards for consumer electronics.
• Perform circuit design and verification across analog/digital domains and power supplies.
• Oversee actuator/motor control circuit design and integration with interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure EMI/EMC compliance and reliability.
• Prepare layout guidelines, BOMs, and test plans; support board bring-up and debugging.

Experience: 5 to 9 years Qualification: BE/B-Tech/ME/MTech (Electrical, Electronics, and Instrumentation related branches) Experience in designing microcontroller boards and associated peripheral circuits. Experience in preparing documents like HDD, test plan, test report etc. Experience in board bring-up, testing and troubleshooting the electronic circuits. Experience in using equipment’s like DSO, signal generator, thermal imager, data logger. Experience in system level testing and validation of electronic products for Consumer application.Added Advantages: Experience in Mentor Graphics, Altium Experience in Electronic product development for consumer application. Knowledge on DRBFM, FMEA ,NOTI, Functional Safety design etc.Additional skill set: Ability to work in a multidisciplinary design team. Ability to interact intensively within technical team.
