Job summary

AdvaRisk is seeking a Sr. Backend Developer (Python - Django) to transform product requirements into robust code. You will implement RESTful APIs, ensure performance, and maintain scalable backend systems across a product-driven environment.

The role requires 3+ years of Python web development, experience with Django/DRF, databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and Git, along with Agile methods and OpenAPI design. Open-source contributions and DevOps familiarity are a plus.

• Understanding product requirements and convert to code
• Resolving bugs
• Stay on top of the product to ensure performance and scalability
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by following best practices and coding standards.
• Understand and keep the technical documentation up-to-date
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end components and third-party services

Mandatory Experience

• 3+ years of experience in REST API development with any Python based frameworks (Django, Django REST framework (DRF).
• 3+ years of experience in web development with Python

• 3+ years of experience with Git
• 3+ years of database programming experience (Postgres, SQL, ability to write complex queries)
