Job summary

Dorleco is seeking an Automotive Tool Development Engineer in Pune to build and enhance ECU flashing, diagnostics, calibration, and measurement tools. The role requires hands-on GUI and backend development for automotive engineering applications.

Ideal candidates will have strong experience with UDS diagnostics, XCP calibration, CAN/CAN FD networks, and integration with PCAN/Kvaser/JTAG interfaces, plus proficiency in CANape and INCA tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience in ECU flashing and diagnostic tool development.
• Hands-on GUI and backend tool development for automotive applications.
• Proficiency with UDS diagnostics, flashing, and calibration workflows.
• Experience with XCP calibration and data acquisition.
• Working knowledge of CAN/CAN FD networks and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate ECU flashing, diagnostics, and calibration tools.
• Design GUI (frontend) and backend modules for automotive applications.
• Integrate with PCAN, JTAG and other automotive interfaces.
• Utilize CANape, INCA, CANoe or equivalent tooling for validation.

Job Title:Sr. Engineer – Automotive Tool Development (Diagnostics, Flashing & Calibration).

Location: Baner, Pune.

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Tool Development Engineer with expertise in developing ECU flashing, diagnostics, calibration, and measurement tools. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in both GUI (Frontend) and Backend development for automotive engineering applications.

Required Skills:

• ECU Flashing Tool Development
• Automotive Diagnostic Applications
• UDS (ISO 14229) Diagnostics & Flashing
• XCP-based Calibration & Data Acquisition
• CAN/CAN FD Communication
• A2L & ELF File Integration
• GUI Development (C#/WPF, Qt, or similar)
• Backend Development using C++, C#, or Python
• Integration with PCAN, Kvaser, JTAG, or similar interfaces
• Experience with CANape, INCA, ATI Vision, CANoe, or equivalent tools

Preferred:

• Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols
• Experience building end-to-end ECU engineering tools
• Knowledge of Embedded Systems and AUTOSAR

Note: Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in developing automotive tool applications, including ECU diagnostics, flashing, calibration, and measurement solutions.
