Job summary

Revantage Global Services India Private Limited in Bengaluru, part of Blackstone's Revantage, is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Portfolio Accounting & Financial Reporting team. The role supports APAC Finance to meet compliance obligations for Blackstone portfolio companies in Australia and New Zealand.

You will handle books, intercompany movements, management and capex fees, NAV and reporting, treasury support, and collaborate across Revantage teams to drive efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 5 years+ experience in a relevant industry.
• Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Private Equity/Real Estate experience desirable.
• Strong financial reporting and accounting knowledge.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to manage large datasets

Responsibilities

• Books and records are soundly maintained with monthly financials, including debt, intercompany transfers, capital injections, distributions, accruals and adjustments for accounting standards and tax.
• Preparing calculation of management fees, leasing fees and capex fees.
• Assisting in processing expenses and intercompany cash transfers.
• Preparing monthly entity level packs including balance sheet reconciliations for all balance sheet line items, resolve aged balances and unreconciled items.
• Preparing and understanding portfolio and consolidated sector results (balance sheet and P&L) monthly and YTD.
• Preparing quarterly NAV, SCA reporting, monthly MMR and other BX reporting as required.
• Assisting in monthly property expense, capex and incentives forecast reviews.
• Preparing statutory and managerial reporting for Blackstone investments.
• Participating in onboarding and offboarding of entities, including final wash ups.
• Support the treasury team with forecasting for cash flows.
• Support tax function and assist with BAS, IAS reports.
• Collaborating across teams for meeting internal and external client needs.
• Identify efficiencies through refined operating procedures and new systems; drive improvements.
• Participating in improvement projects.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Senior Associate – Portfolio Accounting & Financial role will be to support the Revantage APAC Finance team in meeting the finance compliance obligations of Blackstone Portfolio companies in Australia and New Zealand.

Primary Role

Deliverables include but is not limited to;

• Books and records are soundly maintained with monthly financials reflecting movements including but not limited to debt, intercompany transfers, capital injections, distributions, accruals, and adjustments for accounting standards and tax, while determining appropriate accounting and tax treatment


• Preparing calculation of management fees, leasing fees and capex fees


• Assisting in processing expenses and intercompany cash transfers


• Preparing monthly entity level packs including balance sheet reconciliations for all balance sheet line items, understand and resolve aged balances and unreconciled items


• Preparing and comprehending portfolio and consolidated sector property results (balance sheet and profit & loss) by reviewing and analyzing movements on a monthly and YTD basis


• Preparing quarterly NAV, SCA reporting, monthly MMR and other BX reporting as required


• Assisting in monthly property expense, capex and incentives forecast reviews


• Preparing statutory and managerial reporting for Blackstone investments


• Participating in onboarding and offboarding of entities, including final wash ups


• Support the treasury team with forecasting for cash flows


• Support tax function as required and assist with the preparation of periodical BAS, IAS reports


• Collaborating across teams for meeting internal and external client needs

What You Bring To The Role

Required:

• 5 years + experience in a relevant industry


• Chartered Accountant or equivalent


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent


• Knowledge of Private Equity/Real Estate experience desirable

• Good written and verbal communication skills
