Job summary

Synechron in Chennai is seeking a skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications. The role focuses on Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs in a fast-paced Agile environment. You will collaborate with business analysts and architects, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to CI/CD and documentation.

Experience 4–8 years preferred; 5 days work from office. Location: Chennai.

Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern software development practices, with the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Java applications.
• Build and enhance scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and deployment activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills

Education
