Job summary

Genpact is hiring for a Sr. Associate - Insurance - P&C Underwriting in India. The role reviews claims, verifies coverage, and ensures regulatory compliance while maintaining meticulous records.

You will collaborate with teams to resolve complex claims and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. The position requires actuarial, risk management or insurance background with relevant certifications and a proactive approach to underwrite and adjudicate

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level candidates with actuarial, economics, finance or risk management backgrounds.
• Master’s in statistics is a plus for quantitative analysis.
• Certifications in insurance and risk management are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze claim submissions and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify policy coverage and eligibility according to underwriting guidelines.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams for updates and resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards during claims adjudication.
• Document assessments, decisions and outcomes in internal systems for audit readiness.
• Collaborate with team to resolve complex claim issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain organized, up-to-date records of all claim processing activities.
• Suggest practical process improvements to reduce inefficiencies.
