Job summary

Genpact Sr. Associate - F&A - I2C is a key role in our AR and cash application processes. You will handle collections, invoicing, and real-time cash allocation while collaborating across AR entities to maintain accurate receivables.

The position requires experience in AP/Cash application, strong SAP knowledge, and finance domain expertise. Hybrid work in India, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and SOP updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Finance or related field.
• Master's degree in Finance preferred.
• Experience in AR/Cash application and AP processes is required.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Make collection calls and send invoices; manage cash allocation and DRR.
• Prepare and update SOPs; handle queries and inquiries.
• Reconcile orders and ageing buckets; resolve disputes with customers.
• Coordinate with AR entities and ensure end-to-end cash application.

Job Description

Making collection calls to the customers, emailing/faxing invoices or getting hard copies mailed out to customers as per their requests. Understanding of all aspects of Cash allocation in accordance with customer remittances including deep validation experience and report out to business. Cash Application Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances. Collaborating closely between all entities of AR (different entities) and keep track of all aged receivables including current ageing buckets. Act as Subject Matter Specialist for the AR processes, complete know-how and understanding of the AR value chain. Experience of working with a real estate client will be a preference. Create and update the Standard Operations Procedure and other updates received from time to time. Should be able to deal with clients for any query or information. Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end to end process of Cash applications. Process cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites ensuring the DRR (Daily Receipt Reconciliation) is completed in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner. Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and working between departments to get a resolution. Reconcile orders to match customer books, including validating credits or debits and sending them to customer for collection or refund.
