Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Associate - F&A - I2C to drive AR and cash application processes, reconcile remittances, and coordinate across AR entities. The role emphasizes accurate cash allocation, dispute resolution, and SOP updates within a fast-paced, AI-driven environment.

Candidate should have solid accounting foundations and experience with AR, AP, and collections, with English language proficiency and willingness to work night shifts in India.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with DRR and reconciliation practices.

Responsibilities

• Make collection calls, email/fax invoices or mail copies per customer requests.
• Understand cash allocation per remittances with deep validation and reporting.
• Cash application: allocate payments per remittances.
• Collaborate across AR entities to track aged receivables.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for AR processes and value chain.
• Preference for real estate client experience.
• Create/update SOPs and other updates as needed.
• Interact with clients to answer queries.
• Identify/unidentified cash and end-to-end cash applications.
• Ensure DRR is completed timely and confidentially.
• Follow up on disputes and inter-department resolutions.
• Reconcile orders to books and validate credits/debits.

Making collection calls to the customers, emailing/faxing invoices or getting hard copies mailed out to customers as per their requests. Understanding of all aspects of Cash allocation in accordance with customer remittances including deep validation experience and report out to business. Cash Application Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances. Collaborating closely between all entities of AR (different entities) and keep track of all aged receivables including current ageing buckets. Act as Subject Matter Specialist for the AR processes, complete know-how and understanding of the AR value chain. Experience of working with a real estate client will be a preference. Create and update the Standard Operations Procedure and other updates received from time to time. Should be able to deal with clients for any query or information. Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end to end process of Cash applications. Process cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites ensuring the DRR (Daily Receipt Reconciliation) is completed in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner. Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and working between departments to get a resolution. Reconcile orders to match customer books, including validating credits or debits and sending them to customer for collection or refund.
