Job summary

Genpact in Bengaluru is hiring for a Sr. Associate - F&A (I2C) to manage end-to-end AR processes, cash applications, and collections. You will liaise with multiple AR entities, resolve disputes, and ensure accurate reconciliation of invoices and remittances.

The role requires a strong accounting foundation, knowledge of SAP, and experience in AR/AP operations. Office-based, with flex-time shifts, and opportunities to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, commerce, economics or finance.
• Experience with AR/AP processes and cash applications.
• Familiar with reconciliation, dispute handling, and SOX controls.

Responsibilities

• Make collection calls to customers and send invoices or remittances.
• Process cash applications and ensure daily reconciliation accuracy.
• Coordinate across AR entities and resolve aged receivables.

Job Description

Making collection calls to the customers, emailing/faxing invoices or getting hard copies mailed out to customers as per their requests. Understanding of all aspects of Cash allocation in accordance with customer remittances including deep validation experience and report out to business. Cash Application Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances. Collaborating closely between all entities of AR (different entities) and keep track of all aged receivables including current ageing buckets. Act as Subject Matter Specialist for the AR processes, complete know-how and understanding of the AR value chain. Experience of working with a real estate client will be a preference. Create and update the Standard Operations Procedure and other updates received from time to time. Should be able to deal with clients for any query or information. Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end to end process of Cash applications. Process cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites ensuring the DRR (Daily Receipt Reconciliation) is completed in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner. Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and working between departments to get a resolution. Reconcile orders to match customer books, including validating credits or debits and sending them to customer for collection or refund
