Job summary

TIAA seeks a Senior Associate, Project Management Office to partner with Finance leadership, enabling governance, reporting, risk management, and cross-functional coordination across geographies. The role ensures timely execution of leadership priorities and organizational initiatives.

Qualifications

  • University (Degree) Preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience required, 7+ years preferred.
  • Experience in governance, risk and compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a centralized repository to track approvals, business cases, and pipeline activities.
  • Prepare and consolidate decks for leadership meetings, executive presentations, and senior stakeholder visits.
  • Coordinate itineraries, agendas, and approvals while acting as the SPOC for Finance nominations and business approvals.
  • Publish bi-weekly Finance highlights and monthly Executive Governance Decks.
  • Draft internal communications in collaboration with Branding & Communications team.
  • Manage weekly cadence to ensure communications are reviewed and dispatched from leadership mailbox.
  • Drive and track operational efficiency initiatives with functional teams.
  • Monitor compliance training dashboards and publish periodic status reports.
  • Govern all Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Transition requirements for Finance.
  • Maintain an organized repository of presentations and governance documents.
  • Ensure timely upload of MBRs, QBRs, KPIs and PI details into the PMO repository.
  • Support end-to-end management reporting across Headcount, Financials, Transitions, Risk & Governance, and Campus Hiring Programs.
  • Coordinate IT asset provisioning for new joiners and exits; provide end-to-end IT, seating, and ad hoc support.

Job description

The Senior Associate, Project Management Office will serve as a strategic support partner to senior Finance leadership, enabling seamless business operations, governance, communications, risk management, and reporting across the Finance function. This role acts as a central coordination point between cross-functional and cross-geography stakeholders, ensuring timely execution of leadership priorities and organizational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Business Management: Maintain a centralized repository to track approvals, business cases, and pipeline activities. Prepare and consolidate decks for leadership meetings, executive presentations, and senior stakeholder visits. Coordinate itineraries, agendas, and approvals while acting as the single point of contact (SPOC) for Finance nominations and business approvals. Publish bi-weekly Finance highlights and monthly Executive Governance Decks.
  • Communications: Draft internal communications in collaboration with the Branding & Communications team. Manage weekly cadence to ensure all communications are reviewed and dispatched from the appropriate leadership mailbox within defined turnaround timelines.
  • Efficiency & Risk Management: Drive and track operational efficiency initiatives in partnership with functional teams. Monitor compliance training dashboards, publish periodic status reports, validate PI user data monthly, and govern all Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Transition requirements for Finance.
  • Reporting & Review Management: Maintain an organized repository of all presentations and governance documents. Ensure timely upload of MBRs, QBRs, KPIs and PI details into the central PMO repository. Support end-to-end management reporting across key workstreams including Headcount, Financials, Transitions, Risk & Governance, and Campus Hiring Programs.
  • Administrative & Operational Support: Coordinate IT asset provisioning for new joiners and exits. Provide end-to-end support for IT, seating, and ad hoc requests. Manage Finance Distribution Lists and facilitate smooth onboarding and exit formalities for associates.
