Job summary

Lumen Technologies in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced SAP HCM Technical & Functional Consultant to design, integrate, and support SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, and payroll solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.

You will work closely with SAP Integration Suite, ABAP/HR developments, and Time Management tools to deliver end-to-end Payroll and HR processes, with a focus on data integrity, performance, and user-friendly SAP Fiori interfaces.

Qualifications

• Expertise in SAP HCM modules: OM, PA, EC Payroll and related payroll rules.
• Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central replication and EC Payroll.
• Hands-on ABAP/HR development and SAP Integration Suite knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support SAP HCM and EC Payroll solutions.
• Integrate SAP HCM with S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and third-party payroll vendors.
• Configure and troubleshoot SAP Integration Suite interfaces (iFlows, mappings, APIs).
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate with functional teams on upgrades.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Technical & Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP HCM/SuccessFactors, Employee Central Payroll, Workforce Software Time Management, Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, and SAP Integration Suite. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in designing, developing, supporting, and integrating SAP HCM solutions with on‑premise and cloud applications.

The Main Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

• Partner with functional analysts to guide technical solutions for SAP HCM and time management systems and perform impact analysis for enhancements and upgrades.
• Production support of payroll processing, retro calculations, tax updates, and year‑end activities.
• Troubleshoot HCM configuration and process issues.
• Support SuccessFactors Employee Central and EC Payroll integration technical failures.

Technical Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance ABAP Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow solutions.
• Develop and support BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, and HR Infotype Enhancements.
• Create and maintain CDS Views, OData Services, and SAP Fiori applications related to HCM.
• Perform debugging and performance tuning of custom developments.
• Support SAP S/4HANA upgrade activities including SPAU/SPDD remediation.
• Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central and EC Payroll.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Agile projects.
