Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a highly skilled animator to contribute to innovative game animation production and to build promotional videos through the entire production cycle. You will ensure consistency and quality of animations across project teams and quickly interpret briefs and feedback to produce high‑quality work.

The role requires a deep understanding of 2D/3D animation principles, advanced proficiency in After Effects, Maya, 3DS Max, Spine, and Trapcode, plus strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of 2D and 3D animation principles.
• 7+ years of experience in a commercial art/commercial animation setting.
• Strong proficiency with essential art software and plugins (After Effects, Trapcode, Spine, 3DS Max, Maya).
• Good English communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Job description

What You'll Do

• Contribute to innovative game animation production and build promotional videos throughout the production cycle.
• Ensure consistency and maintain the quality of animations and promo video build work across project teams.
• Comprehend animation briefs and feedback quickly, conceptualizing and producing quality animations.
• Be a seeding member of a team handling animation tasks and later be part of a small team responsible for building and maintaining creations.
• Responsively handle remote direction and make changes as requested in a timely manner, communicating complex animation issues succinctly.
• Add customer value to all aspects of the creative production pipeline from concept and pre‑production to post‑production.
• Provide consistent high‑quality animations on innovative gaming products as briefed and directed by the Chief Concept Creator and Art Director.
• Fully understand game rules, mechanics, functionality, and key features to build an animation list and plan choreography.
• Conduct in‑depth reviews of games regularly, verify all supplied animations, and raise and resolve any observations.
• Coordinate with various functions to plan games, resolve game‑related issues, and ensure smooth operations.
• Develop astonishing products and contribute to co‑workers' skill development in a seeding role.

What We're Looking For

• Highly motivated and self‑organized individual with a zeal to build outstanding artwork.
• Advanced understanding of 2D and 3D animation skills along with animation principles.
• Strong proficiency in producing results with essential art software and plugins, such as Adobe Aftereffects, Maxon Red Giant Trapcode, Esoteric Spine, Autodesk 3DS Max, and Maya.
• Good English communication skills.
• Adaptive behavior and the ability to undertake tasks flexibly.
• Responsible demeanor demonstrating integrity and organizational behavior.
• At least 7 years of experience working with relevant computer programs.
• At least 7 years of experience in a commercial art setting with applicable skills.
• Good understanding of art and animation principles.
