Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking an experienced Animator to join our Art and Graphics team. You will create 2D character animations, game trailers, FX, and promotional videos for mobile and web platforms, collaborating with artists, designers, and developers to craft world-class visuals.

You’ll utilize Photoshop, Spine, Texture Packer, and Pixi.js tools while aligning with agile workflows and asset pipelines. A strong portfolio of released titles and 4+ years of experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in 2D animation work.
• Proficiency in Photoshop for crafting animation frames.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spine for skeletal 2D animation.
• Experience with Texture Packer for sprite sheets.
• Familiarity with Pixi.js Text Style Editor for in-game text styles.
• Experience with Pixi.js Particles Editor for particle effects.
• Solid portfolio showcasing 2D animation projects in released titles.
• Experience with Pixi.js framework is a big advantage.

• Work collaboratively with distributed team and studio leads for status updates and mentorship.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 4 years of experience in 2D animation work – Required
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for crafting and editing animation frames – Must
• Strong hands‑on experience with Spine for skeletal 2D animation – Must
• Experience with Texture Packer for crafting and optimizing sprite sheets – Must
• Familiarity with Pixi.js Text Style Editor for in‑game text styles – Must
• Experience with Pixi.js Particles Editor for crafting particle effects – Must
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, After Effects) – Big Advantage
• Experience animating symbols, backgrounds, and FX for casino or mobile games – Big Advantage
• Experience with the Pixi.js framework in game development – Big Advantage
• Knowledge of multi‑platform asset optimization for mobile and web – Big Advantage
• Experience working in agile methodology with Scrum framework – Advantage
• Solid portfolio showcasing 2D animation projects featured in released game titles – Big Advantage
