About the role

You will build and enhance consumer-facing Android apps used by millions of patients to refill prescriptions, manage pharmacy and insurance benefits, book clinic visits and track their health. You will work closely with US-based product, design and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose


• Build patient workflows: prescription refill and transfer, order tracking, pharmacy pickup, appointment booking, digital ID cards and benefits views


• Apply modern architecture (MVVM / MVI, Clean Architecture) and dependency injection (Hilt / Dagger)


• Integrate secure REST and GraphQL APIs with OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect and biometric login


• Protect patient data (PHI / PII) on the device: encrypted storage, secure networking, certificate pinning


• Improve stability, performance and crash-free rate using Firebase Crashlytics and profiling tools


• Build accessible screens that meet WCAG 2.1 / ADA standards


• Write unit and UI tests and take part in code reviews


• Work in Agile / Scrum teams and ship through CI/CD to the Play Store
