Job summary

Qualifications

Skills And Competencies

• Strong quantitative and analytical design skills with ability to own and enhance business logic components, contributing to end-to-end model development
• Hands-on quantitative development with increasing autonomy; translating analytical concepts into scalable model logic and contributing to design decisions
• Ability to collaborate effectively with analysts, model developers, and stakeholders
• Experience in using AI tools to improve efficiency in analytical and development workflows

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, or Statistics, and either (i) a Master’s or PhD in a related field, and (ii) 3+ years of relevant work experience (e.g., Credit Risk)

About The Team

Our Credit Strategy and Standards – Modelling and Quantitative Analytics / Design and Analytics team is responsible for the development and maintenance of credit rating models used in the rating process.

We contribute to Moody’s by designing and implementing robust quantitative model logic, ensuring consistency and comparability across the modelling suite, and strengthening analytical capabilities as we grow our team presence in Bangalore.
