Job summary

S&P Global's Wall Street Office in Gurgaon seeks a Sr. Analyst, WSO Private Debt, Data services, to join the Managed Services team responsible for core general ledger support and related data offerings.

You will process trade settlements, new borrowings, restructures and amendments across Loans, Bonds, ABS and other assets, balance cash ledgers, identify discrepancies, and respond to internal and client inquiries with timely, accurate information.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience is required.
  • Accounting / Finance Major preferred.
  • WSO/LoanIQ/Syndicated Loan experience between 2-3 years.
  • Preferably willing to work in US and EMEA shift timings.

Responsibilities

  • Process trade settlements in WSO Admin based on client information.
  • Ensure timely processing of all new borrowings, increases, rollovers, pay downs, and commitment reductions.
  • Process daily activity, new deal closings, restructures and amendments for all asset types by reviewing source documentation.
  • Process interest, commitment fees and investigate discrepancies when necessary.
  • Responsible for reconciliations, balancing and publishing of cash ledgers, and issue resolution.
  • Review system generated reports to monitor facilities and handle exceptions.
  • Interact with appropriate individuals/entities to gather pertinent information/details for accurate system dates.
  • Handle requests from different departments/clients within an hour turnaround.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.

The Team

S&P Global's Wall Street Office is an industry leader in leveraged loan and high-yield solutions and provides comprehensive products and services for portfolio management, administration, reporting, and analysis. The Managed Services team provides core general ledger support and processing for our clients’ $850B+ on the platform across a range of services and integrated data and software offerings.

Responsibilities And Impact

This position requires a flexible individual who is analytical and possesses strong communication skills. The position involves dealing with various levels of management, both internal to S&P Global as well as external clients to the firm. The successful candidate must be organized, capable of addressing inquiries on time, and also possess acute problem-solving skills.

  • Process trade settlement in WSO Admin based on the information provided by client.
  • Insure timely and efficient processing of all new borrowings, increases, rollovers, pay downs, commitment reductions, etc.
  • Responsible for accurately processing daily activity, new deal closings, restructures and amendments for all asset types (Loans, Bonds, ABS, Equities, CDS) by reviewing source documentation and faxes from agent banks
  • Process interest, commitment fees and investigate discrepancies when necessary
  • Responsible for reconciliations, balancing and publishing of cash ledgers, as well as issue research and resolution
  • Review system generated reports to ensure proper monitoring of the facilities and handle exception items
  • Interact with appropriate individuals/entities to gather all pertinent information/details in order to reflect date accurately in the system
  • Handle requests from different departments/clients within an hour turn around
  • Complete special projects as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Basic Required Qualifications
  • BA or BS or equivalent experience
  • Accounting / Finance Major preferred
  • WSO/LoanIQ/Syndicated Loan experience between 2-3 years
  • Preferably willing to work in US and EMEA shift timings.
