Responsibilities
  • Understand the business problem, able to convert it as an analytical problem.
  • Understand the data need, collect, interpret and clean the data for analysis.
  • Produce meaningful insights using analytical/data modelling techniques and interpret and justify the results with the business context.
  • Able to present the analysis and results to the business stakeholders and generate BI reports.
  • Guide others project by offering insights, analytical assessment, and best practice sharing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to Identify strategy for implementing recommendations.
  • Implement recommendations and monitor their progress across assigned projects.
  • Train team members and operations staff on lean six sigma Strategy.
  • Prepare and present updates to senior management.
  • Develop and prioritize execution of recommendations to achieve goals.
Qualifications
  • Full time Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Science, or Accounting.
  • 4-7 years of experience leading and delivering operational process improvements or initiatives.
  • Professional certification(s) related to process design and improvement (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified; Lean Analysis; Business Analysis)
  • High proficiency (8/10) with Excel, PowerPoint; Visio or any other process mapping tools, Competent (5/10) with PowerBI; Tableau; SQL; Azure Databricks; Minitab.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively gather process requirements, build relationships and provide sufficient influence to achieve success.
  • Creative problem solver that can break down complex problems into meaningful parts to identify and solve for improvement areas.
  • Ability to analyze complex data to determine appropriate course of action towards the objectives.
  • Strong execution skills to support robust deployment of improvement and transformation opportunities in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing projects.
  • Banking, Financial services/ Insurance business knowledge is an asset.
  • Technical expertise regarding data modelling using statistical techniques, data mining.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with the data modelling techniques like Time Series, Regression, Segmentation, Clustering.
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to understand the business problem, collect and analyze the data and able to interpret the results.
  • Experience in executing cross border improvement projects.
  • Good mentoring skills with flexibility to work in shifts.
  • An excellent team player.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work virtually with members across time zones.
