Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Analyst - BI, Reporting and Data Visualization to design and enhance BI products, dashboards and datasets. You will work with Analytics and Data Engineering to translate requirements into governed BI solutions, ensuring accuracy, usability and adoption.

Role requires hands-on SQL, SAS, Python, and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI) with strong consulting skills to drive measurable business outcomes. Hybrid role across US/India teams with Cloud/AI initiatives.

Working under the BI Manager, this role partners with Analytics, Data Engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into governed, performant BI solutions, ensuring accuracy, usability, and adoption. This role combines technical development (SQL, BI tools, data validation) with strong consulting skills (requirement clarification, storytelling, training) to help drive measurable business outcomes.Years of hands-on experience: Relevant yearsKey Responsibilities:Design, develop, automate, maintain and enhance BI products from wing to wing. Including gathering clear requirements, programming/data pulling, ETL, automation, and product deliveryDaily use of SQL, SAS, and Python (future), ensuring consistent definitions and governanceEnhance BI reporting products per modification request and maintain documentationDrive measurable operational efficiency and standard processes for BI product deliveryDeliver on projects/initiatives, assigned by BI PM and management to advance team and business priorities, including new partner onboarding and Cloud/AI journeyBe an SME and business consultant by understanding business needs and performance trends; share analytical thinking with solutions translating needs into insights and recommendationsUpgrade knowledge on BI technical and functional advancements (AI) and deploy learnings on existing and future deliverables – be the SME and trainer to teamsCollaborate with US and India cross functional teams (including Tech, Finance, Marketing) to strengthen BI practiceEngage in meetings with BI PM and with internal and external stakeholdersOptimize performance of BI solutions (query tuning, extract strategies, aggregations, incremental refresh patterns) and support scalabilityTranslate user stories and acceptance criteria (defined with the BI Product/Project Manager) into technical design and build tasks;
