Job summary

Amazon Autos is seeking an AI Platform Builder at the intersection of data engineering and data science. You will design and deploy AI-enabled data platforms, curate datasets for self-service analytics, and deploy intelligent agents to democratize data access.

You will lead platform development, maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS-like practices, and collaborate with product and tech teams to deliver AI-powered data solutions across the autos ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines.
• Experience with SQL and at least one programming language (Python/Java/Scala/NodeJS).

About The Team

Amazon Autos transforms automotive shopping experiences. You will build a data platform for Reporting & Analytics, working with product managers, designers, and engineers to create automotive shopping experiences that delight customers.

This role is part of the Amazon Autos Reporting & Analytics tech team. Our vision is to create automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon that provide customers with greater convenience and selection.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with SQL
• Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
• Experience mentoring team members on best practices
• 4+ years of data engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
• Experience operating large data warehouses
