Job summary

Amazon in Bengaluru, Karnataka is seeking engineers to build intelligent, voice-first experiences for in-car systems and the Web Player ecosystem. You will collaborate with product, UX, and cross-functional teams to ship advanced software for Alexa-enabled devices and Prime Video integration.

You will contribute to secure, scalable code, participate in peer reviews, and mentor teammates while advancing OE goals and system design.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

A day in the life

Every day we are innovating to enhance our customer experience for our little customers on Amazon Kids on Alexa Echo show devices to those who want to enjoy movies or tournaments on Prime Video. As an engineer on the team, you will work closely with Product management to develop and improve the Web Player experience. Build SDKs to support player features such as accessibility. Integrate and analyze video playback analytics solutions to continually optimize performance.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Hands on experience with GenAI tools usage and integration
