Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in India is seeking a seasoned Product Owner/Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technical delivery in a complex, cross-functional environment within HCE. You will translate drivers into requirements and help shape the product roadmap.

The role requires 6+ years of software development experience, 4+ years in Agile as Product Owner/BA, HVAC supervisory domain knowledge, and strong analytical thinking to solve high-complexity problems at scale.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years’ experience in Agile development environments as a Product Owner/Business Analyst
• Knowledge of supervisory domain in HVAC
• Proficient in multiple Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, design thinking, UX
• Analytical and critical thinking to solve high-complexity, strategic problems

Responsibilities

• Consult with product stakeholders to understand business drivers and translate them into requirements
• Work with Product Managers to evaluate the product Roadmap and identify features
• Lead inceptions and own prioritized actionable backlogs
• Manage scope and drive trade-off decisions with external stakeholders
• Elicit, capture, analyze, refine and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria
• Research industry trends and benchmark information for the HCE model
• Dissect high-level information into details for relevant audiences
• Attend standups, grooming, estimations and retrospectives for the scrum team
• Co-own Release Plans and communicate changes to stakeholders
• Follow lifecycle of project benefit and measure adoption, value and satisfaction post go-live
• Identify blockers impacting timeline, scope, cost and elevate them
• Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with product stakeholders to understand business drivers and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements
• You will work with Product Managers to evaluate the product Roadmap to identify features for development and identify "definition of done" for each feature
• Lead robust, fast (through) inceptions (identify scope, value, solution and release plan) and Own prioritized actionable backlogs
• Manage scope and drive trade-off decisions in conjunction with external stakeholders while balancing business requirements with technical requirements
• Elicit, capture, analyze, refine and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and other technical documentation
• Research and analyze industry trends and benchmarking information as they apply to the HCE business model and domain area needs
• Dissect high-level information into details and communicate details in a manner understood by relevant audiences
• Attend standups, grooming meetings, estimation meetings, retrospectives and other key meetings for the scrum team
• Co-own Release Plans and communicate changes to stakeholders regularly
• Follow complete lifecycle of project benefit, including reporting back on adoption, business value and customer satisfaction post go-live
• Identify blockers that will impact timeline, scope, cost or other product variables and elevate to the appropriate stakeholders
• Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships

YOU MUST HAVE

• Business analysis in a complex and Cross-Functional Stakeholder environment
• Overall 6+ years of software development experience
• 4+ years’ experience in Agile development environments as a Product Owner/Business Analyst
• Knowledge of supervisory domain in HVAC
• Proficient in multiple Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, design thinking, UX, and other frameworks
• Proven ability to apply analytical and critical thinking skills to solve, or lead the solving of, strategic problems of high complexity on a large scale
