Job summary

Frontline Managed Services in Hyderabad, India seeks a Sr. Accountant to lead Shared Services Finance, drive end-to-end close processes, and optimize ERP usage. You’ll ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements while guiding the finance team.

You will oversee month-close, review reports, and manage routine and non-routine journal entries, including tax adjustments, with strong focus on controls and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B. Com) with accounting focus.
• CA Inter or CPA in progress preferred.
• 6–8 years in Finance & Accounting with month-close experience.
• Experience with US GAAP/IFRS and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with finance team across Shared Services functions.
• Oversee month-close activities, schedule, reports, and accuracy.
• Prepare and review routine and non-routine journal entries including tax adjustments.
• Ensure conformance with controllership requirements and standards.
• Drive NetSuite implementation projects with setup, workflows, and reporting.
• Assist auditors and support audit readiness and compliance.
• Provide financial leadership by analyzing results and preparing variance reports.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to oversee our Shared Services Finance team. This role will be responsible for driving end-to-end activities, ensuring accuracy of financial reporting, and leading finance operations with a strong focus on compliance, efficiency, and process improvement. As a senior Accountant, oversee the month-close process, and play a key role in ERP implementation and optimization (NetSuite).

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate and work closely with thefinance teamacross multiple F&A functions within Shared Services.
• Overseemonth-close activities, including scheduling, review of reports, and accuracy of financial statements.
• Prepare & Reviewjournal entries (routine and non-routine, including tax adjustments).
• Ensure compliance with controllership requirements and accounting standards.
• DriveNetSuite implementation projectswith hands-on involvement in system setup, workflows, and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support audit readiness and compliance.
• Provide financial leadership by analyzing results, preparing variance reports, and supporting strategic decisions.
• Collaborate, Mentor and coach team members to build capability, engagement, and growth within the team.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B. Com);CA Inter or CPA (in progress)preferred.
• 6-8 years of experiencein Finance & Accounting, with strong exposure to controllership, month-close, and ERP systems.
• Proven experience inworking with finance teamsin aMNC Shared Servicesor corporate environment.
• Expertise injournal entry review, reconciliations, non-routine entries, and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP/IFRS, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on expertise withNetSuite implementation(mandatory).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency withNetSuite (NS)as the primary ERP system.
• Exposure toMS Dynamics, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Experience working in Shared Services or professional services firms.
