Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a proactive Squad/Delivery Lead (9+ years) to own end-to-end delivery for a cross-functional squad, blending Scrum Master duties with delivery accountability. You will drive risk resolution, coordinate across mobile and backend teams, and ensure on-time production releases.

The role requires strong Agile practices, solid stakeholder management, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced programme environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Delivery Lead or Scrum Master owning end-to-end delivery.
• Delivering through to Production in mobile and backend environments.
• Proactive with examples of risk resolution before impact.
• Strong Agile/Scrum grounding and ceremonies facilitation.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (mobile, backend, QA, architecture, business analysis, design).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication up to senior leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple dependencies across a delivery landscape.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving programme environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of in-scope programme items from planning to production release.
• Identify risks, dependencies and blockers and drive resolution ahead of time.
• Lead Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement).
• Coordinate across squad disciplines to maintain a coherent delivery plan.
• Track progress against milestones and escalate risks to timeline/quality as needed.
• Be primary point of contact for delivery status to stakeholders and leadership.
• Manage dependencies with other squads and support functions.
• Support release planning through to production deployment and go-live readiness.
• Foster a healthy, high-performing squad culture and shield the team from distractions.
• Continuously improve squad ways of working and delivery velocity.

We are looking for a proactive Squad/Delivery Lead (9+ Years) to take end-to-end ownership of delivery through to Production for in-scope items on the programme. This is a hybrid role, blending the facilitation and team-health focus of a Scrum Master with the accountability and drive of a Delivery Lead. You will own the delivery outcome for your squad, not just the process — anticipating risks, unblocking issues before they accelerate, and keeping delivery on track from planning through to live release.This role requires someone who is genuinely proactive: someone who identifies risks and dependencies early, chases resolution rather than waiting to be asked, and keeps stakeholders informed ahead of issues becoming problems.Your SquadYou will lead delivery for a cross-functional squad of 13, comprising:

• 2 iOS Developers
• 2 Android Developers
• 3 Backend Developers
• 3 Testers
• 1 Solution Architect
• 1 Business Analyst
• 1 UI Designer

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of in-scope programme items, from planning through to successful Production release
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers across the squad, and drive them to resolution ahead of time
• Run Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement) and act as Scrum Master for the squad
• Coordinate across all squad disciplines to ensure a coherent, well-sequenced delivery plan
• Track progress against delivery milestones and proactively escape risks to timeline, scope, or quality
• Act as the primary point of contact for delivery status, reporting progress clearly to stakeholders and leadership
• Manage dependencies with other squads, teams, and support functions involved in the wider programme
• Support release planning and coordination through to Production deployment, including go-live readiness and post-release checks
• Foster a healthy, high-performing squad culture, removing impediments and shielding the team from unnecessary distraction
• Continuously improve squad ways of working, delivery processes, and team velocity

SKILLS

Must have

• Proven experience as a Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or similar role, owning end-to-end delivery of digital products or features
• Track record of delivering through to Production in a mobile and backend delivery environment
• Strong, demonstrable proactivity — able to give examples of identifying and resolving risks before they impacted delivery
• Solid grounding in Agile/Scrum practices and ceremonies, with the ability to adapt process to the needs of the squad
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams spanning mobile (iOS/Android), backend, QA, architecture, business analysis, and design
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable reporting to senior stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple dependencies and priorities across a delivery landscape
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving programme environment

Nice to have

• Scrum Master or Agile certification (e.g. CSM, PSM)
• Experience delivering within financial services or a similarly regulated environment
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and release management tooling
• Experience with mobile app release processes (App Store / Play Store)
