Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a SQL Database Administrator with 3-6 years of experience to manage and optimize database environments.

The candidate should be proficient in Linux and Windows administration, Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c), RAC, Data Guard, backup/recovery using EXPDP/RMAN, and performance tuning with AWR/ASH reports. Knowledge of storage and partitioning is valued.

Qualifications

• B.Tech, M.Tech or MCA degree.
• 3-6 years of experience as SQL Database Administrator.
• Experience in SQL administration on Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience in Oracle DB (11g/12c/19c) setup, GRID configuration, upgrades, migrations and patching.
• Experience in RAC, Data Guard and Database cloning. Experience in Backup & Recovery techniques like EXPDP/RMAN.
• Experience in using tools like Oracle EM Grid Control, SQL Developer and EXP/EXPDP utilities.
• Proficient in analyzing AWR/ASH Reports and Performance Tuning.
• Good understanding of storage options like RAW, Filesystems and ASM.
• Knowledge of Tablespaces Management, Partitioning, Materialized Views, MV Logs and IOT.
