Job summary

Synechron in Pune is seeking an experienced SQL Developer for an immediate opening. The role targets 7–12 years of hands-on SQL Server expertise, including performance tuning, high-availability setups, data modeling, and secure coding practices.

The ideal candidate will reverse engineer existing databases, design efficient schemas, handle large data volumes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a SQL Developer, with deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2022).
• Strong skills in performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
• Experience with high availability solutions such as Always On Availability Groups, clustering, or replication.
• Familiarity with database security best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS for SQL Server) is a plus.
• A methodical approach to problem-solving and a commitment to data security.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with XML/XSD and JSON structures for data exchange and integration.
• Strong data modeling skills and ability to design efficient schemas.
• Proven experience handling large volumes of data and optimizing for scalability.
• Ability to reverse engineer existing databases and schemas for analysis and improvement.
• Self-reliant and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
