Job summary

BOLD is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to partner with product, development, DevOps, and architecture teams. You will define performance test strategies, execute tests across enterprise apps, and provide actionable recommendations to improve scalability, reliability, and availability.

Role involves API testing for REST/microservices, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and CI/CD integration with Jenkins. Strong scripting and monitoring skills are essential to deliver thorough performance reports

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in Performance Testing/Performance Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with JMeter (mandatory) and LoadRunner.
• Experience in API Performance Testing using REST APIs and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Strong understanding of Performance Engineering concepts and Non-Functional Testing methodologies.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, and basic scripting using Python or PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance test strategies for enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Perform Load, Stress, Spike, Soak, Scalability, and Capacity testing.
• Execute API performance testing for REST APIs, microservices, Azure Functions, WebJobs, and ASP.NET Core applications.
• Analyze application performance using monitoring tools and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Product, and Infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
• Integrate performance tests with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Create utility scripts using Python or PowerShell to improve automation. Prepare performance reports with analysis, findings, and recommendations

Job Description

As a Senior Performance Engineer, you will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps, and Architecture teams to ensure our applications meet performance, scalability, reliability, and availability goals. You will design performance test strategies, execute performance tests, analyze bottlenecks, and provide recommendations to improve application performance.

ABOUT THIS TEAM

BOLD Platform services team design, create, manage and maintain the highly scalable and distributed services for the wider use of web and mobile product applications/portals/websites. Current list of services are based on Microservices architecture whose domain ranges from visitor tracking, User profiles, authentication, content and payment

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design and execute performance test strategies for enterprise applications.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Hands‑on experience with New Relic, Splunk, Grafana, and Azure Application Insights.
• Experience testing applications hosted on Azure or AWS cloud platforms.
• Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native applications.
• Basic SQL knowledge for troubleshooting and data validation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
