Job summary

BOLD is transforming recruitment with advertising technology, merging recruitment with modern front-end development. A Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with global squads in an agile setup to deliver scalable front-end features, focusing on performance, security, and maintainability.

You will work on TypeScript/React/Next.js based interfaces, implement SSR/SSG, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while building for millions of users across platforms.

Qualifications

• Proficient in TypeScript and modern ES features.
• Strong experience with React and Next.js, including SSR/SSG.
• Solid CSS architecture and responsive design skills.
• Experience writing unit tests with Jest and RTL.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
• CI/CD experience (Jenkins/Spinnaker) for deployments.
• Git version control and code review practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

ABOUT THIS TEAM

BOLD Platform services team design, creates, manage and maintains the highly scalable and distributed services for the wider use of web and mobile product applications/portals/websites. The current list of services is based on Microservices architecture whose domain ranges from visitor tracking, User profiles, authentication, content and payments.

Platform team uses state of the art modern technologies like .Net framework, Python, Java, SQL Server, My SQL, Graph DB, SOLR, and a lot of other tools & technologies serving millions of users with hundreds of million transactions everyday through a scalable and fault tolerant architecture.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Implement SSR/SSG, routing, and data-fetching strategies for optimized performance.
• Design and manage SCSS/CSS architecture to ensure responsive and maintainable styling.
• Write and maintain unit tests with Jest and React Testing Library to ensure code quality.
• Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs securely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with backend and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Spinnaker).
• Use Git for version control, code reviews, and collaborative development.
• Continuously monitor, debug, and optimize applications for speed and performance

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Strong TypeScript (proficiency with modern ES features)
