Job summary

Bold is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps, and Architecture teams to ensure our applications meet performance, scalability, reliability, and availability goals.

You will design performance test strategies, develop scripts in JMeter, LoadRunner, and Python/PowerShell utilities, run Load/Stress/Spike tests, and analyze bottlenecks to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in Performance Testing/Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with JMeter (mandatory) and knowledge of LoadRunner
• Experience in API Performance Testing using REST APIs and Swagger/OpenAPI
• Understanding of performance engineering concepts and non-functional testing methodologies
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, and scripting (Python/PowerShell)
• Hands-on with monitoring tools (New Relic, Splunk, Grafana, Azure App Insights)
• Experience on Azure/AWS cloud platforms
• Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native apps
• Basic SQL for troubleshooting and data validation
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Create utility scripts using Python or PowerShell to automate tasks
• Prepare performance reports with findings and recommendations

As a Senior Performance Engineer, you will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps, and Architecture teams to ensure our applications meet performance, scalability, reliability, and availability goals. You will design performance test strategies, execute performance tests, analyze bottlenecks, and provide recommendations to improve application performance.

ABOUT THIS TEAM

BOLD Platform services team design, create, manage and maintain the highly scalable and distributed services for the wider use of web and mobile product applications/portals/websites. Current list of services are based on Microservices architecture whose domain ranges from visitor tracking, User profiles, authentication, content and payment

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design and execute performance test strategies for enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Perform Load, Stress, Spike, Soak, Scalability, and Capacity testing.
• Execute API performance testing for REST APIs, microservices, Azure Functions, WebJobs, and
  ASP.NET Core applications.
• Analyze application performance using monitoring tools and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Product, and Infrastructure teams to resolve performance

• Create utility scripts using Python or PowerShell to improve automation.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native applications.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
