Job summary

Servicio It Solutions is seeking an experienced Spotfire Administrator to manage and optimize the TIBCO Spotfire analytics platform. The role covers platform administration, performance tuning, security management, and end-user support across analytics and reporting functions.

The candidate will install and upgrade Spotfire Server components, manage environments, ensure data connectivity to Snowflake, SQL Server, and Oracle, and work with BI developers to enhance governance and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Spotfire administration and platform management.
• Proficient in Linux/Windows server administration.
• Knowledge of SQL data modeling and data integration.
• Familiarity with automation scripting using IronPython.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade Spotfire Server, Web Player, and Automation Services.
• Monitor health, uptime, and performance across environments.
• Administer user access, roles, and integrate with AD/LDAP.
• Troubleshoot reports, dashboards, and data models for performance.
• Provide L2/L3 support and incident management (ServiceNow/JIRA).
• Promote reports and support migrations and patching.
• Configure connections to Snowflake, SQL Server, Oracle; manage data sources.
• Prepare governance docs and assist SLA tracking and audits.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Spotfire Administrator to manage maintain and optimize the TIBCO Spotfire analytics platform The role involves platform administration performance tuning security management and supporting business users across analytics and reporting functions

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration

• Install configure and upgrade TIBCO Spotfire Server Web Player and Automation Services
• Manage Spotfire environments Dev Test Prod
• Monitor system health uptime and performance

User Security Management

• Administer user access roles and permissions
• Integrate with Active Directory LDAP
• Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies

Performance Optimization

• Troubleshoot performance issues reports queries dashboards
• Optimize inmemory data models and data loading
• Monitor logs and usage patterns to improve efficiency

Support Maintenance

• Provide L2L3 support for Spotfire issues
• Handle incident management via tools ServiceNowJIRA
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions

Deployment Migration

• Promote reports between environments
• Support migrationsupgrades and patching activities
• Work on automation using Spotfire APIs scripts

Data Integration Connectivity

• Configure and maintain connections to databases Snowflake SQL Server Oracle etc
• Manage information links and data sources
• Ensure data refresh schedules and automation jobs

Collaboration Governance

• Work with BI developers and business users for enhancements
• Maintain documentation for platform and processes
• Participate in governance SLA tracking and audits

Required Skills

• Strong experience in TIBCO Spotfire Administration
• Knowledge of Spotfire Architecture Server Node Manager Web Player
• Experience with LinuxWindows server administration
• Database knowledge SQL data modeling
• Familiarity with Automation Services IronPython scripting
• Experience with monitoring tools and log analysis

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cloud AzureAWS environments
