Job summary

Birlasoft in Pune is seeking a TIBCO Spotfire Administrator to join on-site. The role requires 6–8 years of experience, overseeing Spotfire Server, Security, and data integrations with enterprise sources.

You will automate admin tasks and collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to ensure a governed Spotfire environment. The successful candidate will configure SSO, manage licenses, and monitor performance while supporting upgrades and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in Spotfire or BI administration.
• Experience integrating Spotfire with ETL tools, Data Lakes or BI platforms such as AWS Glue, Informatica, Databricks, or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Spotfire Server, Web Player, Node Manager, Analyst, and Automation Services.
• Manage users, groups, licenses, roles, library permissions, and access controls.
• Configure and support SSO, Active Directory/LDAP, SAML, SSL certificates, and platform security.
• Manage Spotfire Library content, data connections, Information Links, and environment configurations.
• Monitor platform health, availability, CPU, memory, logs, and Web Player performance.
• Troubleshoot production incidents, connectivity issues, failed jobs, and dashboard performance problems.
• Configure and maintain integrations with SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, Databricks, and other enterprise data sources.
• Support Spotfire upgrades, patches, migrations, deployments, backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery activities.
• Automate administrative and monitoring activities using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, or scripting where applicable.
• Work with infrastructure, security, database, development, and business teams to maintain a stable and governed Spotfire environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Familiarity with Life Sciences data models and standards (e.g., CDISC, SDTM, ADaM, IDMP, SPOR, MedDRA).
• Experience integrating Spotfire with ETL tools, Data Lakes, or BI platforms (e.g., AWS Glue, Informatica, Databricks, Power BI) is a plus.
