Registrar at Symbiosis Skills & Professional University

The Physical Education Teacher will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing comprehensive sports and physical education programs for university students. The role includes developing students’ physical fitness, sportsmanship, and teamwork skills, while ensuring compliance with all university and inter-university sports regulations. The incumbent will also play a key role in forming university sports teams and promoting active participation in internal and external sports events.

Key Responsibilities

Sports Program Development

• Design and implement an annual physical education and sports activity calendar aligned with the university’s objectives.
• Establish and train university sports teams across multiple disciplines, ensuring adherence to all prescribed university and inter-university norms.

Coordination & Representation

• Coordinate with other universities and institutions to organize and participate in inter-collegiate, inter-university, and regional/national sports events.
• Represent the university in meetings or events related to sports associations or governing bodies.
• Liaise with sports federations and local authorities for collaboration opportunities.

Internal Sports Activities

• Plan and execute intra-university sports competitions, annual sports meets, and recreational fitness activities.
• Encourage maximum student participation and foster a culture of fitness and teamwork across the campus.
• Provide structured coaching, physical training sessions, and guidance to students for various sports.
• Identify and nurture talented students to compete at higher levels.
• Ensure safety, discipline, and inclusivity in all physical education programs.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain records of attendance, training schedules, team performance, and equipment inventory.
• Prepare annual reports on sports achievements, participation, and initiatives.
