Job summary

A dedicated pediatric healthcare center in Bangalore is seeking a qualified and empathetic Speech Therapist to join their Developmental Therapies team. The role involves conducting assessments, designing therapy plans, and working closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to address children's communication and feeding challenges. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of child development and excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

BASLP: Minimum 4 years of experience, or
MASLP: 0–2 years of experience
License/Certification: RCI Registration (preferred or in process)

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of communication, language, speech, and feeding abilities.
Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on the child’s developmental profile and needs.
Address a wide range of concerns including speech and language delays, articulation disorders, and feeding challenges.
Collaborate with parents and caregivers to promote skill generalization at home.
Maintain accurate session notes, progress reports, and treatment documentation.
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, holistic child care.
Participate in periodic case discussions, workshops, and parent education sessions.

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified and empathetic Speech Therapist (ST) to join our Developmental Therapies team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping children overcome communication, language, and feeding challenges through evidence-based interventions and family-centered care.

You will work closely with parents, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team—including occupational therapists, pediatricians and psychologists—to create tailored therapy plans that foster meaningful progress.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of communication, language, speech, and feeding abilities.
Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on the child’s developmental profile and needs.
Address a wide range of concerns including:
- Speech and language delays
- Articulation and phonological disorders
- Fluency (stuttering) issues
- Pragmatic and social communication difficulties
- Feeding and swallowing challenges
Collaborate with parents and caregivers to promote skill generalization at home.
Maintain accurate session notes, progress reports, and treatment documentation.
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated, holistic child care.
Participate in periodic case discussions, workshops, and parent education sessions.
