Job summary

Henkel is seeking a lead for product analysis and testing with strong lab experience. You will analyze results, document findings, and support customers post-release, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role demands expertise with analytical methods and adherence to ISO 17025/NABL audits, along with collaboration with multiple stakeholders to drive improvements.

Qualifications

  • MSc in Chemistry or BE in polymer science.
  • 4–6 years of lab testing experience.
  • Experience with ISO 17025 documentation and NABL audits.
  • Knowledge of ASTM/ ISO/DIN/EN test standards for material testing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product analysis and testing and document progress in internal systems.
  • Provide technical support to customers and analyze results after product release.
  • Record, organize and communicate results/data from experiments and testing.
  • Perform data analysis, draw conclusions, and make experimental recommendations.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and leverage feedback to optimize processes.
  • Observe safety and environmental guidelines when handling products.
  • Maintain laboratory and storage areas and equipment.
  • Follow 5S and environmental, health and safety regulations.

Job description

About this Position

Lead product analysis and testing, interpret data, and provide technical support to customers. Drive product and process improvements through experimentation, stakeholder collaboration, and new technology exploration, while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, 5S, and quality standards. Contribute to technical publications and industry forums.

What you´ll do
  • Fully manage and lead product analysis and testing while documenting progress and results in internal systems
  • Provide technical support to customer and analyze results after product release
  • Record, organize and communicate results/data from experiments and testing
  • Perform data analysis, draw conclusions, and make experimental recommendations
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders and leverage their feedback to optimize processes towards customer requirements
  • Observe safety and environmental guidelines while handling products
  • Maintain laboratory and storage areas, as well as equipment in good condition.
  • Follow 5S- Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, standards and policies.
  • Explore new technology, product, or performance improvement opportunities
  • Actively participate in scientific publications and forum
What makes you a good fit
  • MSc/ BE in Chemistry/polymer science
  • 4-6 years working experience in test lab
  • Expertise in analytical methods like Rheometers, DMA GC, HPLC, Particle sizer, DSC, TGA etc
  • Experience in ISO 17025 documentation and NABL certification audits
  • Knowledge of Mechanical, electrical, thermal test methods, etc- ASTM/ ISO/DIN/EN test standards for material and chemical testing
  • Test analysis and interpretation
